the day i went crazy

Today I let my friend Joanne talk me into 40 days without sugar. She convinced me that anything was possible for just 40 days. Somehow we were talking about lent and even though neither of us are catholic we somehow got on the subject of going sugar free. So day 1 is just starting and its 2 hours and 43 minutes into it and all I can think of are the sweet tarts sitting on my bosses desk. One would think that the fact that I broke my dental bridge last week on one of those innocent hearts would be enough to make me stop. But oh, no, not even the $2,000 dental bill I will have to pay if I want to fix it is enough to deter me. I'm going to go home now, where there are no sweet tarts and have an apple (and I guess I will throw away those evil girl scout cookies:( )
